Dear Gordon,-

Well how is everything in Georgetown? We have been hearing some terrible tales about the rough bunch of soldiers in Georgetown but I can't believe it there must be some exceptions. We heard that you had all been out of the hotel and were sleeping in the library and they were always drunk.

I was in Oakville Sunday and heard that you were coming home if they hadn't had the measles. I just called to Ed on the verandah.

I wish you could have come down a week ago last Saturday night. 24 from Oakville were here and we certainly enjoyed it. we took some flash lights and Sparling burnt his whole hand awfully badly so Inez and I did a little practising in First Aid.

Last Friday night Brampton played hockey here and it certainly was a great game of course Brampton won as they have played together all year but nevertheless it was fast and real exciting and no-one was hurt.

Carl Carson was trying to grow a moustache when he was here last Saturday but everybody discouraged him and he has it in its proper place in an envelope but I suppose I must not be too personal.

When do you expect to leave Georgetown?

Poor sharlene hasn't heard from aberdeen for a long time but we are trying to comfort her.

As I have a lesson at 8 o'clock in the morning and it isn't the easiest thing in the world to get up I must ring off. hoping that you and Brock are not brought to trial for your conduct

Yours ever Fleda.
