Date of Letter:
/ /
Summary:
Bea Armstrong writes to Gordon Munro. She's sent a pair of socks that she's knit for him, and writes that she hopes he enjoys them, despite her inexperience with knitting.
Transcription:
My dear Gug-

I hope these socks fit- I am not very well up in the art yet. The feet look a little bit wide to me, but please don't inspect them as I am afraid they don't bear inspection.

(Page 2)
Tell Brock to explain something to you, as I wouldn't like you to be wasting stamps and perfectly good paper in wartime. And I'm sure Margaret wouldn't either.
As I said before, I do hope these fit-

Sincerely,
Bea Armstrong
