Date of Letter:
/ /
Summary:
Melville sends a postcard home to his family, showing them what his camp in England looks like. He tells them he's enjoying the coastal views.
Transcription:
Dear Mother,
These Golf Links are just a few hundred yds. from the entrance to the camp. There are views like that all over the place. The Downs are very pretty and you can see them quite easily on a clean day. When the weather is clear the view is much better than otherwise.
