Dear Mother,

I got your letter from Mrs. Chisholm and also the underwear. Say I cant quite see through that $25 deal of Aunt Maggie's, you had better explain it a little better.

We got orders to move this morning. The letter said that the reinforcements & all would go to Niagra before the 25th, and we will be separated there. Every body is tickled green that we are leaving here, you had better not write again till you here from me, as we may go before your letter would get here & it might go astray. I got Bill's letter this morning She is sure some writer.

Today is Brock's Birthday & we nearly walloped the life out of him. Say send me some of those pictures that were taken when I was home last. I dont remember whether I left any of mine at home or not so am sending some.

We are all busy getting ready to go, it may be Thursday or Monday, most likely Monday as they are always slow getting away.

We have heard nothing about the 15 who were picked except we would not be concentrated before we hit Niagra.

Well I guess I'll wring off for now as I have a lot of calls to make before we go & "so on".

love to all.

Gordon.

Tell Ed to put these snaps in his album or some place where they will keep.
