Dear Pork-

Just found a letter addressed to you, dated about three weeks ago, thought I had posted it. Have ditched it, so here goes for another one. Got your letter dated the 7th last night. We are back from the front now on the way to a hot part of the line. Believe me, we're in for a wild time now. It will be rather a relief after the months of shelling and mud without any real action. Of course we are not in anything like the condition of new troops; but we'll sure have a try to keep our end of it going. I suppose you are a full fledged soldier now. How do you like the 164th. Between Dad and Brem you fellows must have some time. Give my best to Brem please, and ask him if he's ever going to write me again. You'll soon be up to our old standard, touch your chin to the floor 25 times. Am going to write Bea yet and its getting late so had better close. Saw Gug at long distance today. Best to the bunch and the Family.

Votre ami vrai

Brock
