Hugh Gordon "Gug" Munro was the son of Jessie and James E. Munro. He was the brother of Arthur Melville "Pork" Munro, Edward "Ed" Munro, Margaret "Pug" Munro, and Ethel "Bill" Munro. He was killed in action fighting in the First World War.
