Date of Letter:
In which C. W. Snyder advises Gordon Munro that McGill Company is nearly at full strength and if Gordon wishes to join McGill Company it needs to be arranged as soon as possible.
St. Lambert Mar 21/15

Dear Gordon

I just wanted to say that if you intend to join our McGill Company, you had better get it fixed up as soon as possible. We are nearly at full strength now, & if you write me soon, before recruiting stops I'll speak to the Captain. This is the only way we can get together, because members of the 38th cannot get transferred as privates, & I don't expect to be anything else in this world.

Hurry & notify me.

Yours truly

C. W. Snyder
